Job summary

DL HAINES LLC in New Jersey is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in a fast-paced service center. You will use diagnostic tools and computer software to troubleshoot systems, perform routine maintenance, and communicate findings clearly to customers.

The role requires a “never give up” attitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service. ASE/SAE preferred; HS diploma or GED required; career growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Strong customer service and communications skills required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle malfunction codes using diagnostic tools
• Support service procedures tracking repair status and documentation
• Perform routine maintenance like tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct thorough inspections of engine, transmission, brakes and other systems
• Communicate repair information clearly to customers and ensure satisfaction
