Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Glendale, CA is seeking an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair customer vehicles in alignment with MAP guidelines and company standards.

Responsibilities include performing multi-point inspections, communicating findings to customers, and recommending essentials to keep vehicles safe and reliable. Must maintain ASE certifications and work Monday through Saturday as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent certification or training.
• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to appropriate certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the inspection/repair order with accuracy.
• Explains diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff.
• Recommends necessary services to keep vehicles running safely.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals as needed.
