Carvana seeks an Automotive Technician to join our team, handling diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on a variety of vehicles in a fast-paced environment. You will work with the latest automotive technology and collaborate with the service team to ensure quality and safety for every vehicle.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a dealership or reputable shop, ASE certifications or OEM training, and strong diagnostic skills.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a dealership or reputable shop.
- Foundational knowledge of engine, transmission, brakes, and tires; diverse makes/models a plus.
- ASE certifications preferred; OEM-specific training a plus.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues using diagnostic software and tools.
- Strong communication and time management skills; attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems using specialized tools and manuals.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and factory recall campaigns.
- Document services and communicate findings to service advisors.
- Adhere to dealership/OEM procedures; maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Collaborate with technicians, parts team, and service advisors; participate in ongoing training.
- Stay updated with latest automotive tech and repair techniques.
