Job summary

The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Board is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on automotive equipment under supervision. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and making repairs using test equipment and technical manuals.

Qualified candidates must have three years of experience as an automotive mechanic and complete high school or equivalent education. A valid Class B Commercial driver's license is required within six months of employment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school curriculum or equivalent.
• Three (3) years experience as an automotive mechanic.
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems, determine corrective action, and make repairs.
• Perform engine tune-ups, replace parts, and adjust systems.
• Repair electrical, fuel, and emission systems.
