Job summary

Jeff Wyler Hyundai of Springfield is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles and perform maintenance according to dealership standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and recommended services.
• Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, and other repair work.
• Diagnose drivability and performance issues.
• Use diagnostic equipment and repair information to troubleshoot problems.
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate vehicle concerns and repair needs with service advisors.
• Document work performed accurately.
• Work as part of a team to keep the shop moving.
• Stay current with automotive technology, tools, and repair procedures.

Education

Automotive training or technical school experience
