Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred.
- ASE certification or SAE certification is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communications skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Use diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes.
- Assist with tracking repair status and maintain technical documentation.
- Carry out routine maintenance: tires, oil changes, brakes.
- Inspect engine, transmission and brake systems.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Explain repair information clearly to customers.
