Job summary

Borst Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic in Avondale, AZ to diagnose and repair customer vehicles per MAP guidelines and company standards.

Compensation ranges from $36k to $120k based on experience, with benefits including insurance, retirement matching and paid time off. Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and ASE certification or equivalent training preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to appropriate certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the inspection/repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains diagnosis and needed repairs to customers or managers.
• Recommends necessary services and documents all recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals.
