Job summary

Asbury is seeking an Automotive Technician in Boston, MA to perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer service with ongoing training opportunities and a focus on up-to-date automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must have basic tools
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
• Automotive technician certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Perform basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, basic brake diagnosis and repair, alignments, tire repair, fluid maintenance exchange, TPMS repairs/replacement
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Stay up to date by reading factory bulletins, campaigns, updates and recalls
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and schools
• Continue to expand knowledge of new technology with practice
