Job summary

Jiffy Lube International in La Canada, California is seeking an Automotive Technician. You will service guest vehicles with a focus on brakes, engines, suspension, and electrical systems, using current tools and software to estimate parts and labor.

Requirements include 1–3 years automotive experience, 1–2 years brake experience, ASE Brakes A5 certification (and others preferred). High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive experience.
• 1-2 years of experience working on brake systems.
• ASE certification in A5 - Brakes.
• ASE certification(s) in Engine performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning preferred.
• Automotive technical or trade school degree a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Diagnose and pinpoint issues in braking system and perform necessary repairs.
• Diagnose engine performance, electrical, suspension, and HVAC as needed.
• Use our computer system to provide estimates for parts and labor.
• Road-test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality.
