Job summary

Team Car Care Dba Jiffy Lube is seeking an Automotive Technician to service guests’ vehicles with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will perform brake work, engine maintenance, diagnostics, and routine service while using industry software to estimate parts and labor. This role includes advancement opportunities, competitive benefits, and daily pay options in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 Years of Automotive Experience.
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in A5 - Brakes Certification
• ASE certification(s) in Engine performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning preferred.
• Automotive technical or trade school degree a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Ensure that the service center workstation is clean and presentable.
• Must be able to perform complete disc or drum brake service including replacing all braking components and full brake flushes.
• Must be knowledgeable about the braking system and able to answer customer questions.
• Must be able to diagnose and pinpoint issues in the braking system and related components.
• Must be able to diagnose issues in Engine Performance, Suspension/Steering, Electrical, Heating/AC, etc.
• Ability to use our current computer system to provide estimates for parts and labor using All DATA, AutoZone, O'Reilly, Advance Auto Parts, NAPA, etc.
• Road-test vehicles before/after to ensure work is up to standard.
• Secondary duties may include lubrication, transmission/radiator fluid exchange, fuel system cleaning, tire rotations, gearbox service.
