Job summary

BMW of Santa Monica, part of the Fletcher Jones Automotive Group, is seeking a skilled BMW Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Degree or Certificate from a trade school preferred.
• Previous experience as an automotive technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.
• Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

Pay:

$55,600 - $127,400 / year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, bonuses, overtime, benefits (vacation and sick), etc. The hourly rate for this position is $33.80/hr. Flag rates are used for purposes of earning bonuses and range from $31.00 to $47.00 per flag hour based on experience. Bonuses range from $0 to $41,000 per year based on performance.
