Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our retail service team. You will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision, handling maintenance tasks and customer interactions with high-quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes oil changes, inspections, tire work, electrical checks, and safety testing, with opportunities to pursue ASE certifications within the first two years. Competitive, regional pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate customer and company vehicles.
• Solid understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including oil changes, inspections and tire work.
• Reading, writing and math skills are required.
• Preferred: ASE certification or equivalent training.
• Two years of automotive repair experience or related formal training.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts and componentry as directed.
• Road test vehicles to validate repairs.
• Pursue ASE certifications within the first two years (company covers tests/fees).
