Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician in Houston to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under guidance from experienced technicians. You will participate in inspections, assist in repair procedures, and interact with customers to explain services.

Flat‑rate pay; opportunities for ASE certifications are provided and compensated. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and the ability to learn and perform routine maintenance and tire repairs in

Qualifications

  • Must have basic mechanical task capability.
  • Must hold a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer/company vehicles.
  • Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance including oil changes, inspections and tire repair.
  • Reading, writing and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance.
  • Install parts.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Aspire to obtain A.S.E. certifications within first two years of employment; company covers tests/fees and offers bonus for each passed.
