Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking an Automotive Technician in the Nashville area to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

The role includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with current State Inspection certifications, a performance-based flat-rate pay model, and ongoing paid training to stay ahead in automotive technology.

Qualifications

Must have valid driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.
ASE certification in at least one of A1–A8 preferred; will accept equivalent external qualifications or training.
Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair to specifications—brakes and hydraulics, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
Adeptly explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment; tests and registrations fees paid by company; bonus for each test passed.
