Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician for our Bridgestone Retail Operations team in Nashville, TN region.

You will learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks under seasoned technicians, with hands-on training and customer interaction to explain services. Earn while you grow through a flat-rate pay model, with ASE certifications supported by the company within the first two years.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Valid automobile driver's license must be maintained at all times.
  • General automotive maintenance and tire repair basics including oil changes, inspections, and tire work.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and braking systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance and related services.
  • Install parts and components.
  • Road test vehicles after service.
  • Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company covers tests/fees; bonus for tests passed.

Skills

Education

ASE certification or equivalent
Vocational-Technical School program in related field
