Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician for Bridgestone Retail Operations in Winston-Salem, NC. You will learn to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles under supervision, performing oil changes, inspections and tire services in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role offers flat-rate pay with a pay range of $16.63 to $24.99 per hour, plus benefits starting day one, paid vacation and holidays, on-the-job training, 401(k) match and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services, including oil changes and inspections.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Willing to obtain ASE certifications within two years; company pays tests/fees.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within the first two years (tests and registration fees paid by the company).
