Job summary

Martin Tire is seeking an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair customer vehicles to MAP guidelines and company standards. The role involves performing multi-point inspections, communicating findings to customers and management, and ensuring safe, reliable vehicle operation.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, ASE certification (or related training), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to appropriate certifications/experience.
• Perform work outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explain diagnostics and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals (Store Manager, Service Consultants, customers).
• Recommend necessary services to keep vehicles in running condition and document in customer file.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintain ASE certifications and renewals as needed.
