Al’s Certified Auto Repair in Augusta, ME is seeking an Automotive Technician Apprentice to learn the trade from experienced professionals. If you’re mechanically inclined and eager to build a long-term career, we’ll provide the training and mentorship you need.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on modern equipment, while enjoying a Monday–Friday schedule, paid training, and opportunities to advance toward ASE certification.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Desire to learn and follow instructions.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Basic hand tools are helpful but not required.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with maintenance and repair services.
• Learn proper diagnostic and repair procedures.
• Perform oil changes, tire services, brake inspections, and other maintenance work.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow shop procedures and safety standards.
• Learn new skills every day while building a rewarding career.
