Cooper Auto Group's Jackie Cooper INFINITI in Tulsa is seeking automotive technicians of all levels to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer and dealership vehicles. We provide built-in toolbox, paid training and certifications, climate-controlled facilities, and a comfortable shop environment.

As a team, you will perform inspections, repairs, and quality checks, follow safety policies, and communicate with service advisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience.
• Two years of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Safety and customer service oriented.
• Basic computer and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance for customer and dealership vehicles.
• Fully understands and carries out repair orders as dispatched.
• Conducts full inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
• Performs quality control checks to ensure repairs are completed.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions.
• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs.
• Communicates effectively with Service Advisor and Parts department personnel
• Participates in company and INFINITI training and education to further develop expertise. Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
