McCarthy Tire Service in York, PA, is seeking an Automotive Service Technician / Alignment Specialist to perform wheel alignments, tire services, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to keep customer vehicles safe and performing at their best.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a current State Inspection License, with personal tools provided by the applicant. Experience with tire service and alignments is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform wheel alignments and suspension inspections.
• Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and replace passenger vehicle tires.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance (oil changes, rotations, balancing, tune-ups, filters).
• Conduct vehicle inspections, road tests, and state inspections.
• Document repairs and maintenance accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with inventory and shop operations.
