Job summary

ADAS & GO is seeking an Automotive Technician (B technician) to head up our new Static Service Center (SSC) location. You will diagnose and repair vehicles at the SSC, starting potentially as the lone technician with two weeks of intensive training.

You must be comfortable using the company software, proprietary vehicle estimating process, SSC diagnostic equipment and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems, including ADAS calibrations and programming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years minimal vehicle service experience.
• A or B+ tech only.
• RIVIAN service experience is a bonus.
• TESLA and/or PORSCHE EV training required if no Rivian experience.
• Key skills include diagnostic skills and alignment knowledge.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must have highly reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes.
• Help establish service center procedures and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide calibration services (OEM+).
• Perform diagnostic service and repairs.
• Perform light mechanical operations.
• Handle clock spring, airbags, wire harness, wire repairs, windshield removal and install.
• Program vehicles and provide detailed estimates via MTRX.
• Run ADAS reports and participate in ADAS research demonstrations.
• Document service offerings with photos.
• Maintain strong customer service orientation in communications with clients and management.
• Drive vehicles to and from ADAS & GO/Body Shops with a clean driving record.
• Keep the shop clean.
