Job summary

Stress-Free Auto Care in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced A-Level/Master Automotive Technician to diagnose complex problems and perform high-quality repairs. You’ll mentor junior technicians and collaborate with service advisors to clearly communicate customer concerns.

We offer up to $65+/hour based on experience, with an uncapped performance bonus, paid hourly, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, 401(k) match, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical skills.
• Experience with professional scan tools and OEM/aftermarket repair information.
• L1 Advanced Engine Performance strongly preferred.
• Hybrid/EV and ADAS experience is a plus.
• Professional tool set.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
• Strong communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
• Certifications are not required to be hired.

Stress-Free Auto Care is looking for experienced A-Level/Master Automotive Technicians who can diagnose complex problems, perform quality repairs, and take pride in their work.

Compensation

• Up to $65+/hr, based on experience and demonstrated ability
• Uncapped performance/production bonus

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach throughout the workday; occasionally lift 50+ pounds; safely operate lifts, tools, diagnostic equipment, and vehicles; work in a fast-paced automotive environment; and wear required PPE.
