Pep Boys is seeking a Technician who will diagnose drivability and electrical systems, using experience and technical skill to repair vehicles and educate customers on problems and proposed solutions. This role also requires leadership to mentor a shop team and deliver outstanding customer care.
Required: 3+ years diagnosis/repair; 4+ ASE certs preferred (A4 & A5 plus two from A1/A6/A7/A8/L1); Section 609; state inspection license; valid driver's license; and willingness to work varied shifts.
A Technician is primarily responsible for using their experience and technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems. A successful Technician will use leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team to increase customer care and satisfaction. A Technician will have direct interaction with customers and deliver superior service through educating the customer on the problems and proposed solutions for their vehicle.
