Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles, from engines to brakes and suspension, in a climate-controlled shop. You’ll contribute to safety, reliability, and customer confidence as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2) where required by state law.
