Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles. You will learn hands-on in a fast-paced service team, perform routine inspections, contribute to vehicle assessments and assist repair procedures under the guidance of experienced technicians.

A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is offered to first-time hires. In addition, on-the-job training and company-supported ASE certifications are available, with benefits starting on day one and opportunities

Qualifications

Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair, incl. oil changes.
Reading, writing and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
Install batteries and check electrical systems.
Perform tire maintenance.
Install parts.
Road test vehicles.
Pursue ASE certifications within two years.
