Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics using computer systems
• Conduct tire and tire repairs
• Service car heating and air conditioning
• Handle steering and suspension repairs
• Maintain belts and hoses
• Repair radiator and engine cooling systems
• Service batteries and charging systems
• Perform brake repairs
• Provide muffler and exhaust services
• Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections

• Batteries, starting and charging
• Brakes and brake repair
• Mufflers and exhaust services
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently while working well in a team environment
• Track record of high personal productivity
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire‑changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent – a technical degree is a definite plus
• State‑specific auto repair certifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)
• Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
