Job summary

Graham Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join their team in the United States. You will diagnose vehicle malfunctions, perform repairs, and ensure vehicles are road-ready. The position offers extensive on-the-job training with opportunities for factory training.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with excellent communication abilities. A safe work environment and comprehensive benefits are included, as well as training in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record required.
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Road-test vehicles after repairs to ensure functionality.
  • Document all work performed on repair orders.

Graham Automotive is seeking highly skilled automotive technicians to add to our growing team. The right individual will have automotive repair experience. We do offer in‑house training. Audi and Volkswagen will also provide valuable factory training that you will be able to attend to help you grow in your career with our organization.

Job Responsibilities

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will diagnose the cause of any vehicle malfunction and perform repairs as outlined on the corresponding repair order. You will also be responsible for road‑testing repaired vehicles and determining whether any further safety or service work is necessary.

  • Performing all work efficiently and accurately, and in accordance with dealership and factory standards, and operating all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Communicating with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Saving and tagging parts of the job that are under warranty or if requested by the customer
  • Communicating with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
  • Documenting all work performed and recommended on the repair order
  • Participating in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events
  • Supervising the work of any apprentice technicians as assigned (when applicable)
Job Requirements

As an Automotive Service Technician, you must be self‑motivated with strong mechanical skills, solid organizational skills, and a high degree of attention to detail. It is also important that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to function well in a dynamic team environment.
