Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. is seeking an A Level Automotive Technician in Springfield to diagnose, repair, and service transmissions and related systems. You will work on a range of vehicles, participate in ongoing training programs, and contribute to accurate repair estimates.

The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, general repairs, and collaboration with the team, with daytime hours and growth opportunities through AAMCO’s training resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as an Automotive Technician.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need.
• Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
