LAcarGUY Hyundai Santa Monica is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles in our fast-paced Service Department. You will use diagnostic tools and document repairs while collaborating with teammates to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least 2 years of dealership experience; Hyundai experience and ASE or manufacturer certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician in a dealership setting.
• Experience servicing Hyundai vehicles is preferred.
• ASE, Smog, and manufacturer certifications are desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.
• Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Required: A minimum of 2 years of prior experience as an Automotive Service Technician in a dealership setting.
• Previous experience servicing Hyundai vehicles is preferred.
• ASE, Smog, and manufacturer certifications are desired.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

• The estimated hourly production rate range for this position is $33.80 - $38.00.
