Silver Lake Auto Service, Inc. is a family‑owned business located in Silver Lake, WI. We are looking for a skilled automotive technician to join our team. The role involves performing maintenance and repair work, diagnosing and fixing vehicle systems, and meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Team oriented, flexible, and focused on high level of customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Ability to use automotive software programs including Alldata, Mitchell, Napafix.
• High level of motivation and energy.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification using optimal solutions.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Own a complete set of personal work tools.
• Communicate effectively with service writers and team members about repair needs and timelines.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week.
