Job summary

Byrider Roanoke is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team in Roanoke, VA. You will diagnose, inspect, and service vehicles, performing inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.

We offer a stable Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and starting pay at $18.00/hour based on experience. A Virginia State Inspection License is required, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record is a must.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia State Inspection License required.
• Previous automotive technician or maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform Virginia State Safety Inspections in accordance with state regulations.
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine preventative maintenance.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
• Check brakes, suspension, steering, fluids, tires, batteries, and other critical components.
• Recommend needed repairs to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
