Job summary

CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate at our Reno, NV facility. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to our high standards for safety and reliability, working with a skilled team to tackle technical challenges across domestic and foreign models.

The role requires experience with engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems, plus a strong focus on EH&S and accurate documentation. ASE certifications are expected where applicable, and a valid driver's license is required.

• Strong health and safety knowledge and compliance.
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
