Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles in a fast, friendly Denver-area shop.

You will perform inspections and repairs to standards, explain findings to customers, and recommend essential services. This role requires ASE certification maintenance, a valid license, and availability to work five days weekly, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work five days per week, including weekends.
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certification/experience level.
• Performs work as outlined on inspection/repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and store staff.
• Recommends services to keep vehicles in running condition and documents recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to management.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals.

Automotive Technician is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and Toscalito standards.

Compensation: Ranges from $25 - $35 - Junior Technician - Hourly + Flag

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and/or customers.
• Recommends services that are necessary to keep the customer’s vehicle in running condition; properly documents all recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Store Manager.
• Maintains appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.
