Job summary

Ramona Tire & Service Centers in Murrieta, CA is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles efficiently, following MAP guidelines and Ramona Tire standards. Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake service and repairs.
• Inspect and service suspension components.
• Carry out wheel alignments.
• Replace front end parts as needed.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks.
• Repair or replace tires as required.
• Perform oil changes and related services.
• Assist with other automotive repairs as needed.

The Senior Automotive Technician is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and Ramona Tirestandards.

Pay Range: $27–$40 per hour in total compensation, which includes an hourly base plus additional earnings through a flag/flat-rate system.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Automotive Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.

The Automotive Technician must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
