Job summary

West Main Automotive Repair LLC in Lexington, SC is seeking Automotive Technicians at all levels from Lube Tech to Master Tech. Join a shop that values quality work and helping customers stay on the road.

Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00 with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00–1:00. You'll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform regular maintenance, and repair brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components using OBD scanners and alignment machines.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is required.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair software.
• Strong knowledge of engine, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must supply own hand tools; shop equipment provided.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, steering systems, and drivetrain parts.
• Inspect vehicles and communicate findings and repair recommendations to service advisors.
• Perform engine and transmission diagnostics and repairs.
• Use shop equipment and diagnostic tools such as OBD scanners and alignment machines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work bay in compliance with shop standards.

About the Role

West Main Automotive Repair LLC in Lexington, SC is looking for Automotive Technicians to join our team, from the position of Lube Tech up to Master Tech! This is a great opportunity to bring your mechanical expertise to a shop that values quality work and takes pride in keeping customers on the road. You will be expected to work Monday-Friday from 8:00 to 5:00. You will get one hour for lunch from 12:00-1:00.
