Responsabilidades

Role Description

The Automotive Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located in Kokomo, IN. In this role, the technician performs routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, oil changes, and scheduled service. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, completing automotive repairs, and addressing suspension and general maintenance needs according to manufacturer and dealership standards. The technician documents all work performed, communicates clearly with service advisors, and follows safety and quality guidelines in the shop. This role also involves maintaining a clean work area, using diagnostic equipment effectively, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for a variety of makes and models.
• Hands-on experience performing Oil Changes and routine service procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Proficiency in Automotive Repair, including basic mechanical diagnostics and corrective work.
• Knowledge of Suspension systems and the ability to inspect, diagnose, and repair related components.
• Relevant automotive certification or technical training (ASE certification or equivalent preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, service bulletins, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety practices, and reliable time management.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Previous experience in a dealership or professional repair shop is beneficial.
