Job summary

Grubbs Family of Dealerships seeks an Automotive Technician in Houston to diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards. You’ll perform maintenance, recalls, and factory-specified services, documenting findings with photos or notes and ensuring quality work.

You should have automotive repair experience, strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, own a toolset, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to pursue ASE or OEM certifications with company training support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and computer-related issues accurately the first time

• Complete thorough, honest multi-point inspections and document findings with photos or notes
• Work efficiently to meet and exceed flag-hour and proficiency expectations without sacrificing quality
• Communicate clearly and promptly with advisors and parts to keep promise times accurate
• Follow proper warranty and repair documentation so the story line supports the work
• Road-test to verify both the concern and the repair before the vehicle is returned
• Keep your bay, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and well maintained
