Automotive Technician - Summary

• Perform diagnostic and repair work on a wide range of vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure timely, accurate, and safe repairs.
• Deliver transparent, high-quality customer service by communicating findings and recommendations clearly.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-point inspections and diagnostics on various vehicle makes and models.
• Perform repairs ranging from routine maintenance to complex mechanical and electrical work.
• Work closely with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and build trust through transparency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Stay current with automotive repair technology and participate in ongoing training programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Professional experience as an Automotive Technician (A, B, or C Level experience welcome).
• ASE certification or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools, and computer systems.
• Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the day.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.
• Comfort working in varying environmental conditions typical of an automotive repair facility.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely.
• Ability to operate vehicles, including those with manual transmissions.
• Commitment to wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
