Job summary

Boulder Connect is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to perform basic mechanical repairs, tire services, and inspections. You will document vehicle conditions with multi-point inspections and support a safety-conscious shop environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of automotive experience and familiarity with diagnostic equipment; a valid driver’s license is required andState Inspector License eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a State Inspector License (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic mechanical repairs such as oil changes, tire services, brakes, suspension, and alignments.
• Executing tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotations.
• Conducting fluid changes, power flushes, and utilizing multi-point inspections to document vehicle conditions.
• Performing state safety and emission inspections where applicable, adhering to safety and ethical standards.
• Following safety procedures and reporting concerns to supervisors.
• Maintaining flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, and supporting other duties as assigned.
