Tuffy Tire & Auto 10013 is seeking Automotive Technicians to perform onsite maintenance and repair services for a variety of vehicles. ASE certifications are a plus and candidates must have their own tools. The right candidate(s) will join a growing team focused on quality work.

Technicians typically work 40+ hours per week with weekends closed, and the shop emphasizes promoting from within and competitive compensation with bonus incentives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance work as outlined on repair orders.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform appropriate repairs.
• Keep shop area neat and account for tools at all times.
• Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and road-test to verify repairs.
• Document work performed on repair orders.

Job Summary

We are seeking Automotive Technicians - ASE Certifications a plus. Must have own tools. We are seeking skilled and hard-working Automotive Technicians to join our growing team. The right candidate(s) will primarily be focused on providing a full range of onsite maintenance and repair services for vehicles from a variety of different manufacturers.

Responsibilities

In general, you will be responsible for utilizing your vehicle maintenance expertise to perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned and by following dealer and factory standards. The Automotive will work on average 40+ hours a week. Technicians should have strong knowledge and experience with all types of automobile repairs and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Performing work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing appropriate repairs
• Keeping your shop area neat and clean, and being able to account for tools at all times
• Ensuring that customer vehicles are kept clean
• Road-testing vehicles to identify issues and ensure the quality of repair
• Documenting work performed on repair order

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Clean cut, professional, and takes great pride in work

• Ability to work 40+ hours per week
