Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive – Coddle Creek is seeking energetic automotive technicians/mechanics to diagnose and repair a wide range of makes and models at our Concord location. Ideal candidates have a positive attitude and a drive to deliver quality workmanship.

Salary ranges from $35.00 to $60.00 per hour with opportunities for bonuses. The role includes full-time hours, PTO, health and vision insurance, life insurance, hands-on training, and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• Excellent automotive diagnostic skills.
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Technicians diagnose and fix vehicles for customers.
• Build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Complete full, accurate courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Work with service department to communicate customer concerns.
• Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Communicate effectively with customers and service team.
• Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines.

We are looking for A and B level technicians / mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, have a positive attitude, that can diagnose all makes and models. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our customers.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
• Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
• Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
• Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
• Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
• Drive manual transmissions vehicles
• Efficiently navigate a computer

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our customers
• Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns
• Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
• Leadership ability to manage the workflow of a shop
• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
• Excellent automotive diagnostic skills
• A strong investment in tools
• Ability to Flag 40+ hours per week - depending on shop needs
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor other technicians
