Job summary

Baum Buick seeks a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair light and medium duty vehicles, working closely with Service Advisors and Managers to communicate repair needs.

You will perform multi-point inspections, routine maintenance, recalls, and Stellantis warranty work while maintaining required Stellantis certifications and training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair light duty vehicles of all makes.
• Diagnose and repair medium duty Stellantis vehicles.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections on all assigned vehicles.
• Perform mileage-driven maintenance services.
• Perform recalls and warranty work on Stellantis vehicles.
• Communicate vehicle needs to Service Advisor or Manager.
• Obtain and maintain Stellantis training requirements.
• Maintain other necessary certifications.

Job description

This is a full-time position as an Automotive Technician. The purpose of this position is to provide quality diagnosis and repair of light duty and medium duty vehicles. This position will be responsible for working with Service Advisors and Managers to effectively communicate repair needs and recommendations.

Duties:

• Diagnose and repair light duty vehicles of all makes
• Diagnose and repair medium duty vehicles, typically of Stellantis make
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections on all vehicles assigned
• Perform mileage driven maintenance services on all makes
• Perform recalls and warranty work on Stellantis vehicles
• Communicate vehicle needs to Service Advisor or Manager
• Perform and maintain Stellantis training requirements
• Obtain and maintain other necessary certifications

• Previous automotive technician experience in a dealership

Schedule*:

40.0 Hours per week. Current scheduling is as follows

• Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1 hour lunch
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1 hour lunch
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1 hour lunch
• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1 hour lunch
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1 hour lunch

Pay is based on experience and level of Stellantis training. Preference will be given to a technician with established Stellantis training and experience, however, all candidates will be considered.
