Job summary

EchoPark Automotive in Charlotte, NC is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team. You’ll perform vehicle repairs and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, inspecting a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.

You’ll handle tasks from 190-point inspections to brake, suspension, A/C, and light-line work. We offer guaranteed pay with bonus potential, strong teamwork, company-paid training, and a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be state-certified where applicable.
• At least 6 months of automotive mechanic experience or Auto Tech School certification.
• Own a set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and repair vehicles up to 12 years old.
• Complete tasks such as 190 point inspection, lube, brake and tire work.
• Handle suspension/alignments and drivability checks.
• Diagnose and repair A/C systems and other light-line components.
• Occasionally assist with engine/transmission removal and installation.

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. Our Technicians enjoy guaranteed pay, a very collaborative and casual work environment, very different from a traditional "dog-eat-dog" shop. It's fun, fair, and a great place to work. To excel in this service role, you will need excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our technicians inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.

• 190 Point Vehicle Inspection
• Lube, filter, flushes
• Brake system and tire repair
• Suspension and alignments
• Vehicle Drivability
• Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair
• Light Line work to include - Gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pumps, and alternators
• Occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission removal and installation, no rebuilds or overhauls

What We're Looking For

• Must be state-certified where applicable
