Job summary

Tire Discounters is seeking a Service Technician to perform automotive services including tire installation, maintenance, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostics, and preventive and routine maintenance. You’ll help ensure daily operations run smoothly at your location and provide quality service to customers.

Requirements include 2+ years of automotive repair experience (ASE certifications preferred but not required), own tools, ability to operate lifts and diagnostic scanners, strong customer

• Must have own tools (tool purchase program available).
• Ability to operate automotive lifts, shop tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner experience a plus).
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and availability to work Saturdays.
• Authorized to work in the USA (18+).

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety.
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed.

Your Role as a Service Technician:

As a Service Technician at Tire Discounters, you'll perform various automotive services, including tire installation and maintenance, steering and suspension, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostic, drivability, and preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance services. You'll be key to ensuring the success of daily operations at your location.

Compensation

Pay: $50,000 - $175,000+ annually (hourly + commission).

Our Service Technicians experience one of the best pay plans in the business! They are paid a weekly hourly rate, commission on labor, and variable overtime.
