Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. in Ardmore, OK is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicle systems including drivability issues.

You will work with a team, use general repair tools, and participate in ongoing training through AAMCO's programs. A valid driver's license and your own tools are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as an automotive technician.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Own professional grade tools to service repairs.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical drivability issues.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Perform general repairs on vehicles
• Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as an Automotive Technician
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need
• Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
