Job summary

America's Service Station is seeking ASE-certified automotive technicians or those aiming for certification. You will diagnose and repair vehicle systems including oil changes, AC, and emissions, and translate technical findings to service writers and customers.

Applicants should have 3+ years of experience or completed auto tech school, be at least 18, possess a valid driver's license, and pass a drug/background check.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED.
• Minimum of three years of experience as an automotive technician or recent completion of automotive tech/trade school.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug/background check including MVR.
• Possess working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Must be team oriented, flexible, and possess a desire to deliver a high level of customer service.
• Must have tools necessary for full service auto repair, including diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Technicians diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, AC, emissions, and drivability.
• Technicians explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service writers and customers.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.

• Technicians diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, AC, emissions, and drivability.
