Job description

Position Overview:

The Store Manager is responsible for the successful operation and profitability of a Grease Monkey center using customer and employee relations skills, business management techniques, and sound judgment. This is a working sales position focused on growing store sales. Experience in changing oil, installing tires, and selling auto services to customers is required. Heavy interaction with customers is necessary, and the more you sell, the more you make.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team effectively to ensure high performance.
2. Follow and enforce a 10-step written process.
3. Spend 75% of your time in the bays managing people and processes.
4. Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle recommendations and services.
5. Sell and install fluid exchanges, filters, tires, and other preventive maintenance items.
6. Ensure a safe and productive working environment.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of automotive management experience, including tire and automotive repair.
2. Outgoing and friendly personality with strong communication skills.
3. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
