Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group in Urbana, IL is seeking an Automotive Technician-Skilled to perform vehicle maintenance in a fast-paced dealership setting. You will work at Napleton Auto Park of Urbana, delivering quality service and building customer trust in Napleton as a care-giver for vehicle safety and reliability.

We offer competitive pay ($22.00-$26.00 hourly), top flat rate hours, paid training and certifications, insurance options, paid vacation, 401k, tool allowances, and opportunities

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Automotive technical training or experience as a lube tech or technician assistant is preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections.
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
• Ensure proper tire pressure and inflation.
• Perform wheel alignments.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings.
• Replace or repair exhaust system components.
• Remove and reinstall brake drums/shoes.
• Replace radiators.
• Perform recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
• Keep the service center clean and presentable.

Job Responsibilities:
