The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Technician-Skilled to join our Napleton Auto Park of Urbana location. The role performs vehicle maintenance per dealer and factory standards, helping build customer trust in Napleton for vehicle safety and reliability.

We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $22.00 to $26.00, with top flat-rate hours, paid training, manufacturer certifications, and multiple lift options to boost productivity. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Automotive technical training or experience as a lube tech, or technician assistant.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid in-state driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as required by local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with policy.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspection
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates
• Ensure tire pressure and inflation
• Perform wheel alignments
• Inspect and refill fluid levels
• Install new oil drain plug and oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings
• Clean and replace batteries
• Replace or repair exhaust system
• Remove and reinstall brake drums/shoes
• Replace Radiators
• Perform recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment
• Keep service center clean and presentable
