Sheehy Auto Stores seeks a skilled Service Shop Foreman to join our team. You will monitor technicians as they diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles, ensuring honest work and strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes mentoring technicians and coordinating with service directors and advisors. We prize integrity, experience, and commitment to training, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing factory training, while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years of related experience and training.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor technicians as they examine and diagnose vehicles.
• Discuss repairs with the service director or service advisor.
• Communicate additional service requests to a service advisor as needed.
• Plan work procedures in cooperation with the service director.
• Ensure technicians provide labor time estimates to a service advisor.
• Monitor repair times and update service advisors regularly.
• Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Ensure technicians complete documentation for client repairs.
• Mentor technician trainees and participate in training sessions.
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins.
